THE LOGBOOK
Power. Speed. Torque. All things that are generally lacking in sport compacts and yet there has been an ongoing cultural revolution that challenges old adages such as "there is no replacement for displacement".

Luckily, for import tuners, we can walk with our heads held high as it has been proven time and time again that there are many ways to skin that pesky proverbial cat. Years ago, I came across an article that said the Integra Type-R could - roughly paraphrased "...if given enough gears, it would surely continue accelerating infinitely".

The close gear ratios of the entire Honda Type-R family are the unsung heroes behind the higher compression, bigger cams, lighter weight and even the red valve cover. They are directly responsible for delivering all that wonderful engineering to the tarmac. It was with that particular sound reasoning that we started developing gearing products for Hondas.

Though we experienced initial success, we struggled with being challenged by those who felt our processes were likely no better than factory (OEM) and some even deemed they were unnecessary. The comparison to the factory was brought up so often that it prompted me to utilize it as a benchmark and subsequently I wanted it to be incorporated into our brand. After various attempts, I experienced, after a long session of watching JTCC videos - an epiphany.

While there's no denying how power can mask most faults on moderately well balanced cars, I found it most entertaining to watch these cars with proper gearing carry so much speed and momentum. And with that thought, it was put into action that the company brand would be MFactory; where we are devoted to developing products that will enable you, as a Honda enthusiast, to regain lost momentum quickly whether you are slowing down for a turn or accelerating towards another!
